TASTING NOTES
Legendary Sangiovese, with character. The 2017 vintage opens on the nose with typical hints of sour cherries jam and black cherries. This is followed by an olfactory complexity of a Sangiovese characterized by hot spicy notes but also of star anise, cinchona without covering a pleasant hint of vanilla tobacco.
Even on the palate, it is confirmed as a structured wine. A persuasive tannin accompanies the well-balanced relationship between flavor and freshness. A persistent and fruity finish. Of a unique longevity, capable of making it appreciate many decades after the harvest.
